LIGHTHAND PRODUCTIONS

I have been a Storyteller for a long time.  Actually, I can see now that a Storyteller is what I was L-O-N-G before I picked up a camera or put pen to paper.

That Storyteller gift naturally evolved into my becoming a video producer and writer and director.  I've practiced and  polished my art and craft at places like WSMV-TV, WKRN-TV, Pro-Kids Productions, and The Renaissance Center.  During this fruitful time, I have been recognized with 25 Midsouth Region Emmy Awards, the Peabody Award, numerous Telly Awards, and the NATAS Silver Circle recognition for 25-plus years of creative production work. Eventually, that brought me to creating my own production group,  LightHand Productions, LLC.

I have played important creative roles in producing historical documentaries, children's programs, life skills videos for teenagers, TV news promos, commercials, state park videos, marketing trailers, and more!  I also love to tell stories through my screenwriting and short films.  Recently some talented friends and I realized a long-held dream when we produced a suspense thriller feature film titled THE DEAD HALF.  That film is in distribution.  We recently completed an emotionally powerful short titled STILL LIFE.   We're also nurturing the creation of a thriller titled HOMER'S ODDITIES.

And speaking of "fun", I wouldn't be doing this for such a long time if fun was not a part of it. And I wouldn't be doing this if God had not gifted me with the necessary abilities.  That's what drives me with the desire to creatively tell YOUR story.
